General Description

This video & image recording module is a standard module which can be integrated into various monitoring system. It helps user to add “snapshoting picture and recording video” functions into the original system easily no changing the original firmware, so that reduce the difficulty of developing image acquisition and image application independently for user.

Function Description

1. Video Input: 2-ch video input (these 2-chs can not work simultaneously, either of them can be selected to work by external trigger or serial commands)

2. Video Output: 1-ch video output

3. On board SD card (up to 32GB) to save video and image

4. Motion detection: image area and sensitivity are customized, once the image (environment) changing reaches the pre-set level, the module will snapshot picture actively and send out the picture to host via serial interface. Meanwhile, the voltage level at image changing output is different from regularity and then return to normal when image stops changing.

5. The number and time interval of snapshot are customized.

6. Size of Snapshot Picture: 640*480 320*240 160*120 optional

7. Snapshot Method: by motion detect or serial interface commands.

8. Video Recording Method: by motion detect or serial interface commands.

9. OSD: time and date can be overlaid onto picture and video.

10. External Communication Port: Support RS232/RS458/TTL port
